has received a second consecutive Choice
Hotels International's Platinum Award.
The honor is awarded to properties that exceed
Choice Hotels International's standards for
professionalism, housekeeping, and hospitality.
The Clarion Gatlinburg was evaluated on staff
professionalism, safety and security, personnel
policies, housekeeping, internal communications,
marketing, reservations, and operational
procedures, and over 100 random guest reviews,
98% of which must return favorably, in additional
to other areas, in great detail.
The General Manager of the Clarion Inn & Suites
Gatlinburg accepted the Platinum Award on
September 6 at Choice's Fall Regional Convention
in Atlanta, Georgia.
"Being that we are the only Platinum Clarion in
the State of Tennessee to have received this
award once, and then again in the next
consecutive term, shows the commitment that the
entire staff has to delivering the ultimate in guest
service," the General Manager said. "We at the
Clarion are keenly aware that there is a difference
between speaking of guest satisfaction and
delivering it. One of the things that sets us apart,
and is supported by the achievement of Platinum
status, is that we truly are about the needs of
each and every one of our guests."
