| We hope this page of Frequently Asked Questions may help answer any immediate queries you may have. We are out of the mainstream of traffic from all directions. Following Highway 321 into Gatlinburg we are about a 15 minute drive from downtown. Please feel free to check our maps page to see exactly where we are located in reference to the surrounding communities. We recommend entering the Cobbly Nob community coming in from I-40 on 321S exits 435 or 440. The yellow highlighted route on our map page clearly shows the way. Do we have trolley service from Gatlinburg? The trolleys go as far as Great Smoky Mountain Arts & Crafts Community, located just as you enter Gatlinburg on 321 from Deer Ridge Resort. How close are we to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood? Again, Deer Ridge is ideally located for convenient travel to any Smoky Mountain destination. Using Highway 416, we are just 25 minutes from the entrance to Dollywood and all the fun that Pigeon Forge offers. Is there Shuttle service to Cherokee? Yes! There is a service out of Knoxville called American Shuttle that runs service to Cherokee. We are happy to help you with arrangements if you are interested. Rates vary. Any ski resorts near by? Yes! Ober Gatlinburg has been a first rate attraction for Gatlinburg for many, many years. Please visit our "Lots to Do" page for more information. Is there a restaurant close by? Along with the in-house service we provide through Klassy Snacks, there are several smaller restaurants directly within the Cobbly Nob area of Deer Ridge. For dinner or special groups or occasions we recommend traveling into Gatlinburg where there are many choices. Our favorites are also presented here on our web site with linkage to the web site of the restaurant so that you may view their menus and services and select what is best for your taste. We also can have groceries delivered directly to your room for your convenience between the hours of 5 and 10 PM. Do we have an indoor pool? Yes! It is heated and very nice with glass paneled walls surrounding to enjoy the splendor of the Smoky Mountains as you swim. There is a large outdoor deck area for sunning or picnicking and we have shower/restroom facilities located directly next to the pool along with Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna again for your enjoyment. Towels are provided for your convenience. Are there Jacuzzi's and fireplaces in the rooms? There are wood burning fireplaces in the condos. We happily provide the firewood for purchase as part of our service to you October 1 through February 28. Our indoor pool area hosts a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room for your relaxation and enjoyment. Do we have nonsmoking rooms? All of our units are non-smoking. There are designated smoking areas available outdoors. Do we allow pets? Sorry, we do not allow pets. We have kennel listings available. Do you accept checks? Sorry, we do not accept checks; however, we do accept all major credit cards. Please refer to our reservations policies. |
